Hans Aage is Professor of Economics at the University of Roskilde, Denmark. He is the editor of Environmental Transition in Nordic and Baltic Countries (1998) and the author of [in Danish] Economic Upheaval in Russia and Eastern Europe (1994) and Karl Marx (2004). Rod Bush is Associate Professor of Sociology and Anthropology at St. John's University. He edited The New Black Vote: Politics and Power in Four American Cities (1984) and is the author of We Are Not What We Seem: Black Nationalism and Class Struggle in the American Century (1999). He has been active for many years in the movement for social change and Black liberation, most recently as a member of the Black Radical Congress, the Black Resistance Network, and the NAACP. <bushr@stjohns.edu>

Horace G. Campbell is Professor of African American Studies and Political Science at Syracuse University. His major work, Rasta and Resistance From Marcus Garvey to Walter Rodney , is now in its 5 th edition. His most recent book is Reclaiming Zimbabwe: The Exhaustion of the Patriarchal Model of Liberation. Ed George was born and brought up in Wales , but now lives in the north of the Spanish state, where he works as a teacher.
